Preceding him in death were grandparents, Richard Michael McCarty and Marian and Daniel Parks; uncle, Richard Michael McCarty, Jr.; love of his life and mother of his son, Kristy Quinn; as well as lifelong best friend, Jamie White.
Screech is survived by father, Jay “Corky” Parks of Belle; mother, Ellen (Joe) Moore of Sissonville and the grandson of Betty “Nana” Hancock Ferrell of Diamond. He was the father of Logan Quinn of Belle and grandfather of Halena Johnson. Also left to cherish his memory are sister, Cristin Frampton (Mary) of East Bank and brother, Daniel Parks (Ginger) of Marmet. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, Courtney (Colby McCormick) and Whitney Parks; nephews, Brandon and Rex Parks; aunt, Beverly McCarty; uncle, Jordan Merwin; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
There will be a graveside service for family and close friends at Simmons Creek Community Cemetery on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Frampton officiating.
