Nancy Lee Williams Shaffer

Nancy Lee Williams Shaffer, 84, of Campbells Creek, was placed in God’s loving arms on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, after a long Illness. Nancy was born on Campbells Creek on March 22, 1931, daughter of the late James and & Bessie Hunter Williams. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James R. Shaffer, and a daughter, Anita Lynn Shaffer. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and a proud longtime member of the Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle. Loved one left to cherish her memory are her sons, Keith (Nancy) Shaffer and Wayne Shaffer, all of Campbells Creek; three grandchildren, A.J. (Shannon) Shaffer and Justin Shaffer and Jacob Shaffer; and other close family members. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle, Campbells Creek, with Pastor Larry Campbell officiating. The burial will follow the service in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family and friends will gather for the visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Nancy’s memory to Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle, 3526 Point Lick Drive, Charleston, West Virginia 25306.
