Mary Flora Hunter

Mary was born in Boone County on May 11, 1924, to the late Ira Wade and Ada Hazel Giles Harper. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mary was also a member of Campbells Creek Church of the Nazarene.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hunter; son, Ronnie Hunter and granddaughter, Erin Hunter.

Mary is survived by her children, Barry Wade Hunter of Pearisburg, Virginia, Carol Perry of Campbells Creek and Brenda Barreto of Burford, Georgia; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Rev. Craig Miller officiating. A private burial will be held at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, West Virginia 25311 or Campbells Creek Food Pantry, 543 Campbells Creek Drive, Charleston, West Virginia 25306.
