Born on November 1st, 1940, in the humble surroundings of Weirton, West Virginia, he grew up there, then moved onto West Virginia University, where he graduated in 1961, married, and earned his commission as a second lieutenant in the Army. This was but the beginning of many years of dedicated service to his country, family, and his beloved Greek Orthodox Church.
Thru many years of service in the Army, his tours took him from the frigid cold of Korea, to the intense heat of Fort Hood, Texas and culminated with his service in the US Army Command and General Staff College where he served as an excellent instructor rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel. He continued to serve unto the very end as a patriot at heart, a servant in deed and beloved friend and father forever.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his children Nicholas (Cheryl); Maria Sebralla (Barry); Athena Howard (Ganim); and ten grandchildren.
He lived a wonderful life and touched the hearts of so many.
