Isabelle Childers

She was born February 17, 1925 in Putney, the daughter of Jacob and Barbara Harrison Selbe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; brothers, William, Edgar, and Raymond Selbe; and sister, Olivia Sizemore.

Isabelle was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday Teacher. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Childers (Cappy), of Jefferson, Ohio, Donna Kay Lawson (Walter), of Magnolia, Texas, Pamela Perry (Clarence), of Grafton, Ohio, Deborah Jablonowski (Raymond), of Ozark, Alabama, and Gregory Childers (Kathy), of Dutton, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Isabelle’s life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
