Carrie Postalwait, 41 of Charleston passed into eternal peace on Jan. 3, 2016. Carrie was born November 28, 1974 in South Charleston to James and Brenda Postalwait. She was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School class of 1993. She was employed by Lab Corp as a phlebotomist and housed with Dr. Randall Hill and Dr. Aaron Parry at CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is survived by her parents Brenda (Mike) O’Neil and Jim (Lois) Postalwait, also sisters, April (Linc) Symns, Christie (Jamie) Perkins, Jacqui (Mark) Ranson, Tata (Brandon) Richards, and brother, Brandon Postalwait. Nieces and nephews Jasmine and Jaylen Symns, Colin and Brendan Quinn, Abbie and Tre’ Perkins, Garrett and Zaden Ranson and Kiersten and Eli Richards along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She was also blessed with an extended family Buckey and Glenna Perry. Carrie had a passion for the outdoor life and loved to be in the sun. She had a special love for animals, her close friends, and her faith in the Lord. She was so kind hearted and had such a loving and caring spirit. To be called a friend by her was considered an honor. Her kind eyes and infectious smile will always be remembered and cherished by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kanawha County Animal Shelter and American Diabetes Association. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday January 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Campbells Creek with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Family & Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the Church.
