Robbie Eubank Massie

Robbie Eubank Massie, 87, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Homer Wingfield Massie. Born on July 26, 1933 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late John Ambrose Eubank, Sr. and the late Estelle Sales Eubank. Robbie enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was working in her garden, doing yard work, or planting flowers. She also enjoyed beach trips in the summer or going to Lakeside Amusement Park with family. Her love for her family and friends were evident in everything she did for them. Robbie was a member of Randolph Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, John Ambrose Eubank, Jr. and Lloyd Earl “Pete” Eubank and a sister, Thelma “Ann” Campbell. In addition to her husband, Homer Massie, she is survived by three brothers, Warren Eubank and wife Vilea of Madison Heights, Marion “Bunt” Eubank of Alexandria, and Talmadge Eubank and wife Linda of Madison Heights; sister, Evelyn Fitzgerald and husband Malcolm of Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
