Patsy Elizabeth Mayberry Dinkins

Born February 27, 1941 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Edward Mayberry and Ethel Elizabeth Tyree Cox and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Mack Mayberry, Sr. and Stephen Frank Mayberry. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Tina D. Barnes and husband, John of Novi, MI; sister, Francine Fleshman and husband, Lin of Madison Heights; three grandchildren, Tyler Barnes, Grant Barnes, and Carter Barnes; many nieces and nephews and Rebecca Jennings, whom she thought of as a daughter.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Francine.
