Patsy Moore Campbell

Patsy Moore Campbell, born on December 9, 1941, passed away on June 1, 2024. Patsy was the cherished daughter of Willie Riley Moore and Minnie Creasy Moore. She was the beloved wife of the late Boyd Webster Campbell Sr. Patsy is survived by her devoted children, Vickie Massie (Carl) of Madison Heights, and Angie Hunt (Bob) of Elon. She is also survived by her loving sister, Robin Chaplin (Larry) of Texas. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Lindsey, Ryan, Lauren, Jason, Amanda, and her great-grandchild, Avalynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one half-brother, Charles Huffman, and one son, Webb Campbell. Patsy worked as a cashier at the Country Corner Market in Elon for over 50 years, where she became a beloved figure in the community. She had a deep love for her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and treasured spending time with her family, especially enjoying Sunday meals together. Patsy had a passion for cooking, particularly for Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. She also loved reading, flowers, and animals. A dedicated member of her community, Patsy was deeply involved in her church, Elon Baptist Church, where she was a lifetime member. She sang in the choir and participated actively in church activities, including helping with Habitat for Humanity projects. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights, Virginia, at 11 am, officiated by Carl Massie. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10 am. Burial will follow at Elon Baptist Church Cemetery in Madison Heights, Virginia. Whitten Monelison Chapel is assisting the family during this time. Patsy Moore Campbell will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
