Myrtle Suddith Bryant

She was born on August 30, 1930 in Gladys, daughter of the late George Patrick Suddith and the late Susie Mae Farris Suddith.

Myrtle was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. In her younger years she loved to travel with her husband Garland.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Garland G. Bryant; a son, Steven K. Bryant; two brothers, Johnny Suddith and Clinton Suddith and four sisters, Louise Moyer, Fannie Powell, Martha Suddith and Evelyn Bade.

She is survived by a son, Jerry P. Bryant and wife Sue; a daughter in law, Sheryl Bryant; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Meeks and husband Dale, Shaun Bryant and wife Rachel, Jill Lawson and husband John, Shane Bryant and wife Rhonda, Stephanie Routon and husband Josh, Summer Yancey and husband Dustin and Schuyler Bryant and wife Cassidy; 18 great grandchildren, Taylor Meeks, Bryant Meeks, Payton Meeks, Avery Word, Grace Lawson, Ben Lawson, Owen Lawson, Caleb Hanks, Carter Bryant, Carmen Bryant, Carson Bryant, Presley Bryant, Kadin Routon, Colin Routon, Brinley Routon, Brennan Yancey, Braelyn Yancey and Oaklynn Bryant. A special friend, Dianne Bryan, who gave love and support to Myrtle over the years, also survives her as well as several special nieces and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Madison Heights Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Tim Madison. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
