He was born on January 23, 1963, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Barbara G. Davis and the late Lawrence S. Davis. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Mark “Beau” Davis.
From a young age he loved taking things apart and fixing them. He worked in Satellite Communications and owned M.S.D. Electronics on Main Street in Amherst, Virginia for a few years. He enjoyed a challenge and could fix almost any electronic equipment. He was a gentle, kind, and compassionate man with a big heart who loved people and animals. He loved music, attending concerts, and gardening. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and faithfully spent time with fellow veterans at Monument Terrace in Lynchburg, Virginia. Above all, Mark loved his family and will be terribly missed by those he left behind.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara G. Davis; his wife Susan M. Davis; his son, Steven K. Davis; his daughter-in-law, Hillary Davis; granddaughter, Flora Davis; brother Greg Davis; sister Teri Davis; and many special nieces and nephews.
