Linda Gayle Clark, 64, of Madison Heights, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Funston L. Johnson, Jr. and Lula Alice Harris Johnson.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Richard Clark; her daughter, Crystal Green, and her husband, Jason; and two cherished grandchildren, Dylan Sale and Landon Tweedy. She is also survived by her four sisters, Peggy Johnson, Priscilla Smith, Joyce Fisher, and Teresa Hanks; her brother, Bobby Johnson; and a dear friend whom she considered a second daughter, Angie Souza.
Linda dedicated her life to caring for her family and her home. She was a kind-hearted person, always ready to help anyone in need. Linda frequently donated to various organizations that helped others, reflecting her generous spirit. When she wasn't taking care of her family or supporting others, Linda loved to shop, whether at department stores or yard sales.
Linda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her warm heart and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
