Born on March 26, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late James Wallace Wall and Joyce Cyrus Wall.
Calvin was employed at Southern Railroad for 10 years. He was a member of the Long Mountain Hunt Club and partner of the Long Mountain BBQ, where he enjoyed cooking. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Calvin loved to watch the old time westerns that starred John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, William Campbell.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Debbie Wall; his children, Tiffany Wall and fiance David Ashwell, Jamie Bryant and husband Eric, and Josh Wall; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Cameron, Lili, Caleb, Shania, Tristan, Peyton, and Bella Pearl; brother, Allen Wall and fiance Dana Hackett; sisters, Renna Dodson and husband Bobby and Stephanie Stump and husband Sam; brother-in-law, WT Campbell and wife Missy; sister-in-law, Kristy Burks and husband David; special longtime friends, who were more like brothers, Rick Johnson and Ronnie Vassar; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other close friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. David Wodicka and Rita of CVFP for their care over the years of Calvin and also the Long Mountain Hunt Club- He Loved you guys.
A celebration of Calvin’s life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service till 5 pm and at other times at the residence. The family would like to request that those attending the service dress casual as Calvin would have wanted it that way.
