Michael A. Dusseau

Michael Aaron Dusseau, age 51 passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. He was born on April 1st, 1973 in Detroit Michigan. Michael graduated from Rochester High School and spent 18 years as an over-the-road truck driver. Later, Michael worked for Lyft, becoming the first driver in Michigan to complete 10,000 rides. He was also a former member of the NSSA where he proudly served with the 14th Tennessee.

Michael was survived by his wife Renee; his parents James and Joanna Dusseau; sisters Beth Smith and Jenna Smith; brother-in-law Aaron (Shannon) Hardy; mother-in-law Harriet (the late Lare) Hardy; nieces and nephews Addison Dusseau, Edward Smith, Kaytlyn (Nick) Johnson, Krys Martinez, Cassidy Smith, Adam (Renee) Hardy, Rebecca (Brad) Steinmann, Emma Hardy and many more; grandmother Dottie (the late George) Hrit; Uncles Jim (Karen) Hrit, John (Kathy) Hrit and David (Sue) Hrit along with many cousins, he is also survived by his cat Baby Princess Bingo. He is preceded in death by his mother Kathy Dusseau; brothers Matthew Dusseau and Ed Smith.

A visitation for Michael will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

The family will greet guests Monday, December 23, 2024, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

Immediately following the Funeral a graveside service will occur Monday, December 23, 2024, at Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
