She was born on June 14, 1927, in Pierce City, Missouri, and was the daughter of Joseph and Lena Metlock Boman. She was the last surviving of her 9 brothers and sisters.
Margie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Due to her husband’s job with The Hartford, the family moved more than 20 times across 8 states while raising five children.
She enjoyed vacationing anywhere near the shoreline in Florida, Maine and Rhode Island as well as going to restaurants, reading, playing games, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
Margie is survived by a son and three daughters: Patrick Lang (Becky) of South Deerfield, MA; Sandy Dembski (Ralph) of Torrington, CT; Janie Lang of North Haven, CT; and Linda Lang-Bankowski (Robert) of North Haven, CT. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Peter Starkes (Dawn) of Huntington, CT; Jennifer Hulse (Chris) of Cooperstown, NY; Kevin Stevenson (Kate) of Damascus, OR; Rachael Lang (Steve) of Seattle, WA; Vanessa Lang (Woody) of Des Moines, IA; and David Lang (Emma) of La Mesa, CA. Additionally, she leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Betsy, Chip, and Jane Hulse; Jack, Crue, and Ollie Stevenson; Faedra Lang; and her beloved friend Lucy Warren of North Haven, CT.; and her grand-dog, Lena.
Besides her husband, Margie was predeceased by her daughter Sally Cavallaro, son-in-law Anthony Maione, and her dog, Kalie.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 4th, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Church, 24 Academy St., Madison. Burial will follow at West Cemetery in Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margie’s name to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
