William (Bill) Edward Price, Sr., 83, a resident of Macon, Georgia died September 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Kim Washburn officiating.
He was born January 14, 1939 in Florence, South Carolina to the late Arthur Walker Price, Sr. and Flossie Mixon Price. Bill retired after a 37-year career with United States Postal Service. He worked hard for success and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a great love of nature and endearing sense of humor. He also had many hobbies including gardening, wood working, and reproduction of Native American artifacts.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hartley Price; his children, Pamela (Randy) Abercrombie of Macon, GA and William (Cathy) Price, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA; his grandchildren, Jessica (John) Mnieckowski, Meghan (Daniel) Blount, Tina Abercrombie, Charles Abercrombie, Tripp Price, and Ashley (Jake) Brewster; his great-grandchildren, Sadie Mnieckowski, Aurora and Maddux Blount, and Novalee Lary.
