Steve Lake

Steve Lake, 57, passed away on Sunday, July 5. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 8 at 11 AM at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Anthony officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 7 from 6 – 9 PM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Diabetes Association, Suite C, 5105 Paulsen St., Savannah, 31405 or The National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112.

Steve was born in Macon to the late Wallace McCree and Bette Beckham Lake. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Lake Garland. Steve was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. He was a General Manager at Georgia Cooling. Steve was an avid golfer, enjoyed boating and loved the beach. He was a loving husband, dad and granddad. Steve loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Elizabeth.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Lake; children, Katie (Tyler) Aldridge, McCree Lake, Lauren Rountree and John Lanier; his beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Aldridge; niece, Lori (Shawn) McGovern; and great-niece, Audrey McGovern; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
