Shirley Ann Rowland

Shirley Ann Rowland, 70, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom, 3321 Joycliff Road, Macon 31211. Mr. W. David Henton will officiate. The family will greet friends following the memorial service and asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road #359, Macon 31210 or the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Mrs. Rowland was born in Macon, the daughter of the late Ruth Atkins Watkins and A. S. Watkins. She was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia having worked in the medical records department. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom.

Mrs. Rowland is survived by her husband, Bobby Dennis Rowland of Macon; sons, Shaw (Lisa) Rowland of St. Augustine, FL and Shannon (Cindy) Rowland of Macon; grandchildren, Robert Rowland, Josh Rowland, Jacob Rowland, Katie Eagle, and Ricky Bridger, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Khloe, and Trevor Eagle and Elijah Bridger.
