Robert Harrison Daniel Sr.

Robert Harrison "Harry" Daniel passed away at the age of eighty-one on September 9, 2011. A Rosary will be said Sunday from 6:30 to 7:00 P.M. with visitation to follow from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011, 10A.M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201, with private burial to follow. Father Dawid Kwiatkowski will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Robert was born on April 12, 1930 in Thomaston, GA. He was the son of Thad and Iona Cox Daniel. He had three sisters, Edna, Martha and Betty and one brother, Ormond Daniel who preceded him in death. Robert moved to the Macon area in the 1950's and worked at Armstrong Cork for thirty-nine years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Claire Daniel; his four sons, Ricky Daniel (Helga), Robert Daniel, Jr. (Sue), Mark Daniel (Cindy), and Michael Daniel (Echo); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his brother, Harold Daniel of Thomaston; nieces and nephews.

His family will be forever grateful for all the love and support that he gave them. God is with you, Dad.
