Patrick Douglas “Doug” Beck, 54, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Patrick Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave. The family suggest that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 233 Peachtree St., Suite 2225, Atlanta GA 30303 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 53 Perimeter Center E, Suite 100, Atlanta GA 30346.
Doug was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Morgan Eugene and Patricia O’Malley Beck. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Beck. Doug was employed at Robins Air Force Base as an HVAC Mechanic and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was an avid Georgia Football fan and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by wife, Melissa Beck of Macon; two children, Elizabeth Beck and Patrick Beck; sister, Debbie Beck; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
