Even though I found out 9 days ago (Christmas Eve), I am still digesting this devastating news. Pam was by far one of the sweetest, most lively people I had the pleasure of knowing, and her bubbly personality always made my day. It was as if she never met a stranger. I enjoyed her and the rest of the family's company so much during my most difficult times. I am so thankful God put her in my life, even if it was for a far too short amount of time. I truly did love this woman. My heart goes out to Rick, Spencer and Mallory. You all have not left my mind.

I didn't have as much contact with Pam as a cousin as I had wished because of the distances between us. But we were always in touch with Uncle Gerald because of a special bond that we had.  The times we were fortunate enough to be with and communicate with her, we were fully aware that she was special to Uncle Gerald. It is such a terrible tragedy that she left this life at such a wonderful time for her and her family.  My wife and I are deeply saddened and sorry that her family will be without her.

Oh my goodness, what a ray of sunshine she was! I have always called her Pam because that's what everyone called her when I first met her in sixth grade.  She was always so fun to be around! I remember the nickname she gave Bill Hanse - Bag-o-Bones, because he was skinny.  She always called him Bones. LOL.   And I will NEVER forget her driving us to our first House Party in Panama City Beach when we were in SOS.  I think I was 15 and she was 16.  We left Macon at about 4:00 a.m. and Pam was pedal to the metal the whole way down! Music blaring, windows rolled down, laughing and shrieking our heads off.  I think she drove a maroon Chevy Chevette or something like that.  She was the coolest.   Then I remember how proud she was when Spencer won the Mike Weaver Award at Vine Ingle.  She was always so proud of both Spinny Moose and Mallory.  The thing is, Pam never pretended to be perfect and never expected me to be perfect - that's why I loved her.   RIP, Pamela.  My friend.  I'll see you when I get there.  

Dear Rick and family,
Our hearts  break for each of you! Anyone that knew Pamela has a unique memory that involved love and laughter. Our days at Martha Bowman were  not only fun, but deeply spiritual and prayerful, as we tried to figure out and navigate this thing called life. She was passionate in all that she did, and the world is a better place because of her life. We love y’all. David and Becky Smith

I cannot find the words to express the passing of my cousin Pam.
My heart goes out to the family. I can find some comfort in the beautiful obituary written by the family saying she was a servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and devoted to her family.  I can find some comfort in knowing she is reunited with the family members that preceded her to heaven.

I met Ms. Pam a few gears ago when she was referred to me to do her hair. We bonded instantly and shared so many stories which are typical with hairstylist/client relationships. She was such a ray of light for me on days when the sun didn’t shine. She opened her home and heart for me many times during our friendship. My fondest memories are the stories we shared about how proud she was of her family, swimming at her home, and us both sitting in her recliner together watching the Miss America pageant! When we went to the Miss Georgia pageant a couple years ago, she snuck us down to the front where she and her family were sitting and she coaxed us into sneaking upstairs for the after party. We got caught 3 times before making it up there and we made jokes about how we were probably on “the watch” list.  It was never a dull moment while in her presence.  In her sweet southern accent, she would say “hey boyfriend” as she held her arms out to give me a big kiss on my cheek! I am heartbroken for everyone who loved you! Your family and friends will certainly have a void not having your chipper personality with us! I love you to the moon and back Ms. Pam!

Pamela and I were members of the Young Adult Sunday School class at First Baptist Church of Christ when we were all first married. I have many happy memories of parties, baby showers and helping her decorate her new home. My heart breaks for her untimely passing.  Rick, Spencer, Mallory, Betty and Ty, you are in my prayers and I lift you all up for God to give you comfort and strength in the days to come. May happy memories and the grace of God sustain you and help bring you peace. 

Pamela and I bonded quickly when we began praying for our children and all of Stratford every Thursday morning, beginning when Spencer and Thomas were in the first grade and continuing all the way until they graduated.  She instilled in me the power of prayer which has carried me through life's trials and celebrations.  If I ever needed prayer she was just a phone call or text away and I knew she would be a prayer warrior I could always count on.  Rick, Spencer, and Mallory - Just as Pamela did for so many others, you can count on so many lifting you up in prayer now during this time of sorrow.  You all meant the world to her and I'm praying for peace that passes all understanding, knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior.

Pamela was a dear friend and prayer warrior ! She prayed with me when my husband died.  I will miss her smile and true friendship.  She always showed respect,  dignity , love , morals and values.  We sat plenty of days and talked about faith and how much we love our family. Rick , Mallory , Spencer you all have my deepest condolences and I'm sure Pam is smiling now because she is with " Papaw" !!! Sending

Pam and I were young mothers together at First Baptist. She was always an encouragement to me and so much fun to be with!   She was thrilled with her children and delighted in her new children son and daughter ! Rick and children, she will always be fondly remembered and you will always be prayed for and thought of!

I will always remember Pam comforting us when Kyle had his accident going to school at Stratford.  She was so calming and caring.  She prayed with us and reached out to us in many ways.  She was always
a ray of sunshine.....always smiling, cheerful and happy.  Her infectious spirit cheered everyone. She will be greatly missed.   Prayers for comfort and strength for the family.  

For 12 years I prayed with Pamela for Spencer and Mallory in our Moms In Touch prayer group.  My heart is broken for you.  Please know that we are keeping you in our prayers.  Love, Kristin
