Mildred Evans Brown, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 11, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Vineville Baptist Church. The family will greet friends following the service. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. William Richard Kremer officiating. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
Mildred was born in Montrose, Georgia to the late Herbert and Mary Louise Battle Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Earl Russell Brown and her siblings, Buddy Evans, Herbert Evans, Mattie Sanders and Truitt Evans. She was a former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and served as the Church Hostess for many years. Mildred was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She was a Pink Lady at the Medical Center and was a devoted helpmate to her husband with many activities involving church and little league. She was a good and faithful servant, devoted Christian wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Kay and Michael Allen, Jenny and Ronnie Patterson; son and daughter-in-law; Rusty and Ellen Brown; grandchildren; Bethany (Matt) Spickard, Heather Brown, Hillary (BJ) Neff, Hannah (Daniel) Thurston, Katie Beth (Brandon) Pritchett, Russ (Kendal) Patterson and Clayton Patterson; great grandchildren; Hayden, Knox, Sam, Charlie, Millie, Miller, Avery and Bennett, siblings; Rebecca (Cecil) Cannon, Gloria Williams, Wendell (Margie) Evans, Thomas (Bonnie) Evans, Mallory (Linda) Evans, Linda Carroll, Loretta (Joe) O’Neill and many nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws, Carol Evans, Geraldine Cullen, and brother-in-law, Billy Ray Sanders.
