MACON – Marguerite Wall Brown, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Clinton Fields will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown, wife of the late Rev. James Robert Brown, was born in Laurens County the daughter of the late Mack C. Wall and Stella Bridger Wall. Living in Macon most of her life, she had worked at Allied Chemical and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Houston Road where she was very active in the life of her church.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Brown of Macon and Gary Brown of Plano, TX; her granddaughter, Bethany Brown of Plano, TX; her grandson, Craig Hamilton of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Christine Parks, Grace Bishop and Wynell Bowen, all of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
