Lillie M. Myers

Macon – Lillie Mae “Bill” Myers, 88, passed away October 1, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Claire Davis will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Myers was born in Mt. Vernon GA to the late Robert W. Thigpen and Carrie Smallpiece Thigpen, but lived most of her life in Macon. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Myers and was a member of Maynard Baptist Church in Forsyth. Mrs. Myers will be remembered as a loving and generous mother who dearly loved her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Wynoka (Darrell) Moye of Macon; son Johnny (Pat) Myers of Ellaville, GA; four grandsons, Craig Moye, Brent Moye, Chad Myers, and Justin Myers; five great grandchildren; two sisters; five brothers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
