Kenneth Ernest White, Jr.

Kenneth “Ken” Ernest White, Jr. 63, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Steven Pazignano, ofm officiating. A rosary will be said at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, followed by a visitation from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon GA 31210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.

Ken was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Kenneth E. and Nancy Lane White. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Past President of Holy Spirit Parish Council, Men’s Club and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. Ken was a sub-contractor with Cox Communications as a customer service specialist. Ken was an Eagle Scout Troop 205 and was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts. He was on the Executive Board of Central Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America. Ken served as Past President of Macon Bibb Respite Care, Past President Riverside Optimist Club, and current Lt. Governor Zone 7 Gateway District Optimist Club and current Vice President Optimist Club. He enjoyed his involvement in church activities, spending time with his family and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Theresa White of Macon, children, Laura (McKelin) McKenzie, Heather Sanders, and Kristen White, grandchildren, Adia McGahee, Owen McKenzie and Ian Sanders, siblings, Wendy (Todd) Hutchens of Lakeland, FL, Janet W. Mills of Forsyth, Sandra (Jeff) Durrence of Kathleen, Kathy (Roger) Ely of Macon, Gary (Jennifer) White of Lizella, Darrell (Alice) White of Macon, Karen (John) Cosey of Macon, Sharon (Brent) Casteel of King, NC, Keith (Michelle) White of Gray, brother-in-law, Tim Battle of Vero Beach, FL and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
