James “Jerry” Gerald Broxton, Jr., 68, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Duggan officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, 5925 Price Road, Macon GA 31220.
Jerry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James Gerald Broxton, Sr. and Mary Ruth Edenfield Broxton. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and brother. Jerry was retired as a Senior Market Representative with Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia and Atlanta Gas Light Company. He was a handyman that could fix anything. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger Broxton (Keith) Evans of Macon, grandchildren, Annamarie (Ryan) Megginson, and Abbigail Fisher.
