My Dearest Uncle James- "GONE TOO SOON" I'm sitting here thinking of you today and reflecting on how much you meant to the family. You were truly the stronghold and made it seem effortless. I can say now-you are definitely a bigger giant than I ever imagined and for that I will be forever grateful. Thinking back on how you cared for grandma throughout her illness never complaining and yet you had your own struggle. That speaks volumes of who you were. I appreciate you more than you will ever know and I feel comfort in knowing you are watching over our family and standing in the gap as our angel when we need you. Oh how I wish you were still here with us so I could talk to you and not worry about being judged. As the years pass and I get older-the responsibilties you made seem effortless can weigh on your heart. Keep me lifted up! I need you now more than ever. Reading the Guest Book entries is just a small sample of how much JJ was loved and respected by everyone he came in contact with.  I also had the privilege of working with JJ for years at BellSouth; and the thing I remeber as much as his smile, laugh and kind ways was his love and pride in his family.  Each time he spoke of his wife or one of his children it brought a smile to his face.
