Gwynell Raley Davis

Gwynell Raley Davis, 74, passed away on January 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). The family will greet friends on Monday, January 31 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

Mrs. Davis was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Romas Ed Raley and Charlotte Brown Raley. She graduated from Miller High School and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed her 30 year career at Anderson, Walker and Reichert law firm prior to her retirement. Mrs. Davis was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her sister, Madelyn Grovenstein.

Survivors include her husband, F. Lou Davis of Macon; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Brandon Raley (Julia) Davis and Dameron L. (Meagon) Davis; three grandchildren, Margaret Raley Davis, Madelyn Celia Davis and Hannah Lee Davis, all of Macon; one sister, Charlotte Raley Katz (Richard); brother-in-law, Bill Grovenstein; sister-in-law, Margie Donnelly (Ricky); several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jane and David Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon, GA 31201 or donor's choice.
