Gwendolyn “Gwen” C. Barron, age 82, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Fellowship Baptist Church on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00 am with Reverend Rodney Queen officiating. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Central Fellowship Baptist Church, 3460 Hawkinsville Rd., Macon, Georgia.

Gwen was born in Macon, Georgia to John P. and Margaret Bowers Cosey. She was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church and attended Forever Young Sunday School class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Barron, Sr. and her son, William Timothy Barron.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Creamer and Dottie Brady (Keith), and Jeannie Goodman (Mark); son, William “Billy” H. Barron Jr. (Becky), grandchildren, Casie Dougharty (Shane), Joshua Goodman (Cameron), Sydney Brady, William “Trey” H. Barron III, and Eyan Barron; great grandchildren, Emmagrace Goodman, Brody Dougharty, and Lennox Goodman; sister, Lawana Combes; and several nieces and nephews.
