Frank Edwin Howard, 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, January 30, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Chambless officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
Frank was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elmer and Flura Dixon Howard. He was a Supervisor at Robins Field, now Robins Air Force Base, and served in the United States Air Force. Frank was a member of Mikado Baptist Church, the Optimist Club, the Middle Georgia Coin Club, the Georgia Numismatic Association, the Warner Robins Coin Club, and the Georgia Freemason Rutland Masonic Lodge #298. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Laverne Campbell Howard; children, Patricia (Marshall) Cowart and Stephan (Karen) Howard; grandchildren, Danae (Andy) McBurney and Marissa Cowart (Eddie Rattanasouk); sister, Grace Mercer; and several nieces and nephews.
