Frances Monica Crutchfield Marsh, age 85, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. A private graveside service for family will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed at 2PM on Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home's Facebook Page for the public to view.
Monica was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Calder Bartlett and Frances Louise Corson Crutchfield. She owned and operated Anna-Monica's Flowers and Gifts and was a member of Mikado Baptist Church.
Monica met the love of her life, Bill Marsh, in 1949, at a Lanier High School football game. It's often debated whom was the pursuer, but it was destined to be. They spent 70 years together, 66 of those years as husband and wife, traveling the 50 US states. They enjoyed fishing and camping, visiting the Georgia Coast and being together. Every venture of theirs was a delight.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, James William "Bill" Marsh, Jr.; sons, J. William "Bill" Marsh, III (Deborah),
Michael "Alan" Marsh (Gina), and Wade Bartlett "Bart" Marsh (Jennifer); 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister, Carole Eleam (Murl); and a tremendous host of extended family and friends.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.maconmp.com for the Marsh family.
