Deborah Jill Hammock (Debbie), 72, passed away on December 12, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Debbie was born to the late Florrie Bell and William Todd MCQM in Charleston, South Carolina. As the daughter of a United States Navy Master Chief Quarter Master, Debbie traveled much of her childhood before landing in Sandersville, Georgia where she met the love of her life, Terry Ray Hammock. She taught at several schools before retiring with 25 years of service. Debbie was a member of Shalom Tabernacle. Debbie was kind, caring, and had a love of giving gifts to all she met. Above all, Debbie was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with those closest to her and was especially close to her sisters. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Brenda Cate (Vasa Sr.)
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Terry Ray Hammock; children, Brian Hammock, Jeremy Hammock (Elizabeth), Leah Milusic (Dejan); grandchildren, Max Hammock, Marshall Hammock, Lev Milusic, Elliott Milusic; siblings, Janice Robinson (Howard), Pam Blish (Terry), Lynn Todd, William Todd (Gabriella); and a host of nieces and nephews.
