Cindy S. Carlisle

Cindy S. Carlisle, 92, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Barry Collins officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Cindy was born in Prestonburg, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Carlisle, Jr; and twelve siblings. She was a member of Bolingbroke United Methodist Church. Cindy was active in a bowling league for over twenty years, she enjoyed playing Domino’s and all types of card games. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time in her yard. Cindy most of all was an avid quilt maker and her last quilt will be going with her to heaven to be finished. She was a loving, honest, hardworking, straight forward woman and a devoted mother, and grandmother.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Shirley, Bettye, Jacque and her hospice nurse Megan.

She is survived by her children; Lucy Ann Bartley (Kathy) of Jonesboro, GA, Keith Carlisle (Tracey) of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren; Spenser Carlisle (Ashley), Sydney Carlisle, and Logan Carlisle; one great-granddaughter due December 2022; and several nieces and nephews.
