Charles Henry McGuire

Charles Henry McGuire, 81, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 3:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with brother-in-law, Gordon Bennett officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 2:45pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

Charles was born in Americus, Georgia to the late Charlie and Edith Brown McGuire and was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell McGuire and daughter-in-law, Tina McGuire. He was a Sales Tax Auditor for the state of Georgia and previously on the Board of Directors for Windsor Academy.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara McKenzie McGuire; son, Ronald McGuire; daughter, Laura Lynn Hodges; grandchildren, Patrick (Courtney) Hodges and Kayla McGuire; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express their thanks to Pine Pointe Hospice and special caretaker, Kathy James.
