Billy Brown

Billy Wayne Brown, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 2 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, with the Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Those who wish may send flowers or make donations to donor’s favorite charity.

Billy was born in Rockmart, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Johnette Waldrop Brown and his parents, William Wofford and Myrtle Ruth Shepard Brown. He was of the Baptist faith and served our country in the U.S. Army. Billy retired from Cherokee National Life Insurance Company as a Vice President.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Emily Roell Brown; children, Phil (Sharon) Brown of Macon and Cindy Brown (Terry) Maltos of Snellville; grandchildren, Mandy Clark, Lesley-Anne Tanner, Cameron Brown, Tyler Maltos, and Anna Maltos; nieces, Ann McCain and Joyce Taff, both of Bremen, GA; step-children, Gail Roell (Joe) Union and Rhonda Roell Taylor, and Joseph William (Dona) Roell III.
