Barry Carl Andrews, 63, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Lowe officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Facemask and social distancing are required.
Barry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late G.C Andrews, Jr. and Mildred Strickland Andrews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Andrews. Barry was a graduate of Macon State College and employed at Navicent Health Hospital as an IT technician. He was an AVID Georgia Bulldog fan, enjoyed playing golf, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving companion, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his lifelong companion of fifteen years, Karen Newberry of Macon; sons, Daniel (Nichole) Newberry of Macon, Tyler (Hayley) Newberry of Cumming; grandchildren, Nikolas and Zeke; sister, Nancy (Robert) Jordan of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
