Ruth B. Bohn

ROCKFORD. IL. Ruth B. Bohn, 94, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, November, 29, 2015. Born February 22, 1921 in Redgranite, WI. to Robert and Ruth (Briggs) Rasmussen. Ruth was born and raised on the farm. She graduated from high school earning money selling cucumbers to pay for her education. She married Ben Bohn on Jan. 10, 1945 in Rockford, who preceded her in 1985. Ruth made a career of taking care of her family, especially baking them her favorite pies. She worked for 10 years at G.C. Electronics. Ruth was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved to step on the dance floor and engage in a good polka.

Survivors: children, Ron (Sally) Bohn, Barb (Greg) Lee, Sue (Ed) Crass; grandchildren, Kristi (Rob) Markin, Jason (Beth) Lee, Mike (Amanda) Bohn, Aaron (Erica) Bohn, Eric Bohn, Scott (Erin) Slack; eight great-grandkids. Predeceased by parents; husband; four sisters; one brother.
