Born on February 3rd, 1935, Joyce was known for her strong spirit, her deep love of family, and her unwavering ability to face life's challenges head-on. After battling illness for years, she passed comfortably, surrounded by the love and support of devoted children who ensured her wish to remain at home was fulfilled. On July 27, 1957 she married the love of her life, Antone Hauser. They celebrated 45 years of marriage, and had five wonderful children.
Joyce instilled in her loved ones the importance of respecting elders and led by example, always finding solutions instead of making excuses. In her leisure time, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of classic movies, cooking, sewing, playing Words With Friends, and a competitive game of "31."
Joyce made the most of every situation, good or bad she smiled through it all. Though she will be deeply missed, Joyce's legacy of resilience and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Joyce is survived by her children, Julie (Jeff) Wirth, Ed (Carmen) Hauser, Lynn Hauser, Jim (Ana) Hauser, and Laura (Brett) Wellwood; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Dolores (the late Bill) Hogeland and Mary Ann (Rich) Kliman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
