Elizabeth "Betty" A. Hirth

Betty A. Hirth, on Thursday November 2, 2017 embarked on a new journey surrounded at home by her family. Betty was born on May 26, 1933, in Sterling, Illinois to Everett and Carlotta (Ohda) Teske. Betty was predeceased by her high school and life partner Stanley Hirth. She always enjoyed living life to its fullest including taking many vacations and donating her money to the casinos. She was most content spending time with her family, especially her very special great –grandson, Gauge.

As we look back over time, we find ourselves wondering…Did we remember to thank you enough for all you have done for us…For all the times you were by our sides to help and support us…To celebrate our successes to understand our problems and except our defeats? For teaching us the value of hard work, good judgment ,courage and strength? We wonder if we ever thanked you for the sacrifices, you made. To let us have your very best? And for the simplest things like laughter, smiles and family times we shared? And if we have forgotten to show enough gratitude for all the things you did, we are thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, how much you meant to us, and how grateful we are to have had you in our lives. We miss you and love you. Until we are together again.

Survivors: daughter, Barbara Hirth; grandchildren, Becky Hirth, Liza Hunter, Cole Hirth; great- grandsons, Gauge and Kamren; dear and special friends, Dick and Myrt Adcock. Predeceased by son, Stanley Hirth Jr.
