Donna G. Quick

Donna Gene Quick, 62, of Loves Park, Il. died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 27, 1953 in Erie, Pa. to Joseph and Josephine (Laplaca) Wojcik. She married Russ Quick and he died at the age of 29, a widow now raising their three children, she never remarried. She worked for over 30 years at MTE. She enjoyed watching reality TV shows with her girls, donating money to the casinos, bingo and scratch offs. She liked to showcase her talents with her art work, crafting, and decorating her home in a safari theme and her collection of cows. Donna found comfort in the companionship of her dogs, Sawbuck, Kookies and Brody. She was most content when surrounded by her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors: children, Jennifer (Amelio), Christa June (Brian), Kathy Jean; grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Randyn, Katie Jo, Zachery, Elijah, Nevaeh, Zayden; great-grandchildren, Taqwa, baby Ivy Rose on the way; siblings, Virginia, Angie, Alex, Karen, Tony, Timmy, Lori; host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband; sister, Cindy; brother, Joe.
