Diane K. Meyer, 76, of German Valley, IL, passed away peacefully at home, January 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 20, 1946 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Warren and Beulah (Johnson) Graham. Diane married her sweetheart, Terry Meyer, on August 27, 1966 in Rockford. Diane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and cross-stitch. She was a room mother and part of the PTA when her daughters were growing up. She was a member of Union Grange for 52 years. Diane worshipped the sun whenever she could, whether it be at the Rockford Swim Club, in her pool or mowing the lawn. She thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to going to her grandkids sporting events, band, choir, and coloring easter eggs with them. She was the bright light in our lives that will never dim.
Diane is loved and missed by her husband, Terry; children, Susan Meyer and Kathy (Rick) Haschke; grandchildren, Morgan (Adriana) Haschke, Wade (Allison) Haschke and Madelyn Willis; sister, Marcia Sandall as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Graham and numerous aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
