Connie Tisovec

Connie E. Tisovec, 67, of Rockton; died at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois on January 7, 2012. She was born on February 19, 1944 to Clifford and Freda (Bennett) Kinkade in Olney, Illinois. Connie worked as a cosmetologist before graduating as a Registered Nurse from Rock Valley College.She married Louis Tisovec on June 1st 1991 and worked at Saint Anthony Medical Center and later Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and a sister, Cathy Schmidt.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Tisovec; son, Todd (Michelle) Statdfield; daughter, Jill (Mark) Kinney; step-children Eve Livingston, Vince Tisovec, Philip Tisovec, and Elaine Fitzgerald.

She is also survived by grandchildren Sienna Kinney, Ryker Kinney, Marisa Tratnik, Molly Fitzgerald, Conor Fitzgerald and a sister Karolyn Kentner. Connie is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a beloved pet named Gus.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, January 13, 2012 at Roscoe United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. Private burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
