Cecil O. Isom, 85, of Loves Park, passed away on March 18, 2021. Cecil was born in Phil Campbell, Alabama on December 14, 1935 to Tilmon and Ada Isom. Cecil married the love of his life, Nellie Stegall on July 24, 1954. He worked at Amerock for 40 years before retiring. Cecil had one main hobby, Cars. Whether it was fixing them up, or just washing one to hit the road and show it off, he loved cars.
Cecil is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Tim) Seifert and Vikki Hatcher; grandchildren, Amber, Andy (Anna), James, Sarah (Eddy), and Dillon; great grandchildren, Vanessa, Veronica, and AJ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Isom and parents. His son Chris passed shortly after he did on March 18, 2021.
All Services will be private at Sunset Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Helping Hands Pantry in Machesney Park.
