Antonia Ford, 95, of Rockford, IL. was welcomed into heaven on Friday, January 5, 2018 in her home with family. In a life well celebrated, Antonia married Henry Ford and together raised their two children while enjoying traveling, fishing, and entertaining family and friends. He preceded her in death in June 1993. Antonia was a valued employee at National Lock where she worked over 30 years until retiring. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and she loved reading her bible. Antonia was born November 29, 1922, in Oklahoma to Alonzo and Rose Fermin.
Survivors: children, Joe Smith, Anita Kehoe; grandchildren, Angie Smith, David (Melissa) Kehoe; great-grandchild, Tristin Kehoe. Predeceased by parents; husband; 1 brother, 1 sister.
