Bro. Tom Bolton was born in Dallas on July 10, 1949 to parents Todd and Rosalene (Patton) Bolton and entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2020 in Tyler. Tom was a graduate of Bryan Adams High School in 1967, where he then went to IBEW to learn how to be an electrician. On July 12, 1968, he married the love of his life Marilyn Jeanelle Crawford, who he lovingly nicknamed “Blossom”. He had a long career as an electrician working for H&K International, and in 1995, he surrendered his life to the Lord and followed a path that would have him pastoring churches, and ended up at Trinity Baptist Church, in Trinidad. He was very involved in the church, along with pastoring duties he also taught Sunday school, Bible studies and organized the social events. Tom loved the mountains, but he was also the type to stay at home and spend time with his grandchildren and family. He was a kind, loving and self-sacrificing man. Tom was his family’s strength; he had a very strong work ethic and very high standards. He was faithful to his God, Family and Church. He loved to woodwork and always planned to have a woodworking shop. Tom loved to mow, while he was mowing it was his time to sort things out with and talk to the Lord, it was where he found his peace and comfort. He touched many lives and will be missed by all that loved and knew him.
