Services for Shirley Keller, 79, of Athens, will be held 11 am Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Fulton officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Keller passed away September 1, 2023 in Tyler. She was born July 20, 1944 in Howe, TX to Arthur Lee and Myrtle Permelia Morris Riley.
Mrs. Keller was a member of Virginia Hill Baptist Church but had been attending Central Baptist Church in Mabank. She was a very godly woman who loved reading her Bible and daily devotionals. She enjoyed gifting the Daily Bread booklets to people. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Keller is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Keller; daughter, Carolyn Fox; grandson Lane Boyd; sisters: Mary Dhane and Helen Romine; and brothers: Ernest and Harold Dean Riley. She is survived by her daughter, Kat Fox; son, Jess Nash; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Butler; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
