Michael Wayne Mooneyhan entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2019 in the comfort of his home in the community of Tundra, TX. He was born in Beaumont, TX on July 30, 1943 to parents Winfred and Estelle (Keller) Mooneyhan. Michael attended Corsicana High school and after graduating, he started his career in the heating and air conditioning business. After many years he retired from Entech sales and services in Dallas, TX. Michael was an ornery and funny man, he looked intimidating but to those who loved him knew he was a big teddy bear on the inside. He was a loyal man and generous, sometimes to a fault. As a younger man, Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing, although he eventually stopped hunting because he did not want to hurt animals. Michael loved being on his farm, he enjoyed working cattle and growing vegetables in his garden. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dallas and later joined the lodge in Canton. He married the love of his life Tommie Freeman on February 16, 1973 in Corsicana, Tx.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Estelle McCreary.
Michael is survived by his wife, and his children; Tracey Mooneyhan and wife Jeanette of Canton, TX, Erin
Mooneyhan-Osborn and husband Stephen of Canton, TX, Shannon Wilkins and husband Mike of Corsicana, TX, Shannon Anderson and husband Coy of Mabank, TX, grandchildren Hayden Osborn, Trey Steakley, Amber Wilkins, Matthew Wilkins, Emily Wilkins and great-grandchildren Truett Steakley and Emarie Steakley, and many more family members and life long friends.
