Janice and Bill Stevens of Houston married on June 9,1950 and enjoyed 54 years together. She lived most of her life in the Houston area, residing in Deer Park, Rosenberg and most recently in Kemp, Texas. Janice was a 1950 graduate of Reagan High school and a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp, Texas.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rowena Clark; husband, James William "Bill" Stevens; sons-in-law, Steve Walker and Gene Samford.
Janice is survived by a son, Jimmy Stevens and wife, Anne, of Seminole, Texas; daughters, Aleta Samford of Kemp, Texas and Carol Allen, and husband, Steve, of Wichita, Kansas; nine grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
A time of visitation for Janice will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Eubank Cedar Creek, 601 South 3rd Street, Mabank, Texas, followed by the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505. With Jimmy Stevens officiating.
