Linda Gale Maldonado

Linda Gale Maldonado, age 75, of Mabank, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Linda was born February 12, 1947; to parents, Harold Bennett and Dorothy Louise Cady. She was a caring and doting wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; with a huge heart that loved to help others. Linda married the love of her life, Carlos in Lancaster, TX. on December 17, 1965. She was an adventurous and ebullient woman; who loved gardening, fishing, mountains, and traveling. Christian by faith, Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She retired in 2017, after serving 17 years as the Office Administrator of the same church. Linda also worked with her father at Harold's Exxon for a few years. She will be truly missed by all of those she touched in her lifetime.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Louise Bennett; brother, Harold Glenn Bennett Jr. and sister, Paula "Kitten" Draughon.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Colley Maldonado of Mabank, TX.; daughters, Carrie Winn and husband David of Mabank, TX., DeeDee Tank and husband Peter of Mabank, TX.; brother, Carl Bennett of Ferris, TX.; grandchildren, Amanda Hargrave and husband Jessie of San Marcos, TX., Regan Fayyaz and husband Wasif of Buda, TX., Dakota Parrent of Lakewood, CO., Madison Winn of Mabank, TX., Jackson Winn of Mabank, TX.; along with great-grandchild Ellie Hargrave of San Marcos, TX.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, July 8, 2022.
