James Paul Kennedy

James Paul Kennedy passed from this life at his home in Mabank, Texas surrounded by his treasured family on March 14, 2024. He was born on February 4, 1971, to James Harald and Mary Margaret (King) Kennedy. He grew up in Grapevine, TX and attended Grapevine High School. Paul had a very generous heart and cared for everyone he met making lots of friends throughout his life. His family was his main priority and he loved to be with his grandkids, riding bikes or outdoors. Paul enjoyed being creative and he was very gifted in building and construction. He started his own construction business, Kennedy Construction, which flourished for over 30 years. Paul then was blessed to meet his other half in November of 2014, Pamela Harvell Kennedy and they were married on July 31, 2016, and blessed with 7 wonderful years together. On Paul's days off, he liked to go gambling and enjoyed sweets and chocolate at all hours of the day and night.

Paul is preceded by his father, James Kennedy; mother, Mary Caswell and stepfather, Norman Caswell; and his beloved dog, Lady.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Pam Kennedy; sons: Cody Kee and wife, Nikki, Dillan Kee and partner, Caitlyn Kuykendall, Randell Harvell; daughters: Paige James and partner, Alfonso Gonzalez Jr., Madison Kennedy, Dakota Smith and husband, Chretien Smith, Kari Harvell; grandchildren: Carson, Kai, Addy, Lilly, Harlee, Emersynn, McKinnley, Averlee, Axel, +1 on the way!; sister, Tammy Stokes and husband, Jay; mother, Betty Kennedy; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; adored dogs: Blue, Red and Craig.
